Tips for creating templates

1. If you would like to switch off all the default templates, then create a template like:

$ *
When using this template your inf will reply only with the phrases you have taught it.

You can also create other templates with the use of this template, like:

$ * ? – this template will work to all unknown inputs ending with a question mark
$ * ! – this template will work to all unknown inputs ending with an exclamation mark.

2. Consider all the possible guest mistakes and misprints.

For example, to the input “do not know” it is better to make not only the template like:

$ * do not know *

but the one like that:

$ * {do not know/don’t know/dont know/dotn know/don’t knw/don’t nkow/don’tknow} *

3. Create templates to frequent guest replies like ”Yes”, “No”, “Don’t know”, “Yeah”, “Wow”, “OK” and link anchors to them.

4. Use variables to avoid repetition of certain dialogues in your inf’s conversations.
