Your inf’s conversations

You can read all the recorded conversations between your inf and other users and infs in the section Conversations of your workshop. If the guest mentioned his/her name during the conversation then the guest's name (the one that the user gives the inf) will appear next to this conversation in the list of all the dialogues.

To look through the conversation log you should click on it. On the right side of the screen you will see the complete record of this dialogue.

To avoid reading unpleasant conversations with your inf, you can use the foul language filter.

You can edit the inf’s replies in the conversation log. To do this you will need to click on the red pencil File:Red_pencil.png icon next to the inf’s reply. A template window will appear where you can edit both the inf's replies and the guest's inputs. After saving, this template will automatically appear within the Classroom section in My templates.

A conversation log is stored for 10 days. After 10 days it will be deleted. Currently, you cannot delete the conversation logs on your own.

You can save the conversation log on your computer. To do this you will need to:

1. Open the log.
2. Click on the link above the log.
3. Choose the format you want this conversation to be saved as: Text, HTML or as a LiveJournal post.
4. Copy and paste the log to the text file on your computer, website or LiveJournal entry.

If you have not visited the Conversations section in your workshop at the time a new chat was started, you will receive an email notification about the new conversation. The chat session is considered to be finished if there has not been any activity within 3 hours.

If you do not wish to receive new conversation notifications you can turn them off. To do this you click on the button off in the line “Conversation notification emails - on/off”. After that the word will turn grey to indicate it is no longer active.

NOTE: If you cannot look through the conversation logs in the section Conversations (even if you have received a notification), check that a pop-up blocker is not activated. Some firewalls mistake the conversation logs as pop-ups and may not allow you to look through the logs. If you switched the pop-up blockers off and this does not help – send a message to our customer support team. Please specify the version of your operating system (Windows XP/Vista/7, Linux etc) and the browser type you are using (Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla, Google Chrome etc).
